History

Founded in April 1989, The Work-Family Connection has served as a child care resource and referral source, has registered day care providers for the State of New Jersey, has provided technical assistance to child care providers, centers, agencies, and developers, and has conducted needs assessment surveys for school districts and other County groups. Since 1991, the organization has been exclusively operating before and after school programs, vacation/holiday programs, kindergarten wrap-around programs, and summer camps. The Work-Family Connection is continually growing, at this time serving over 2000 students in 33 schools, adding 1-2 new schools per year. Our services, operated on school grounds for the convenience of families, include Before and After School Programs, Extended Day Kindergarten, Vacation and Holiday Programs, Middle School Programs and Summer Day Camps.
