“Parents LOVE The Work-Family Connection’s Flexible Summer Camp Schedule” According to Aurora Pipeling, Founder and Chief Executive Director

The Work-Family Connection’s Summer Camp programs have expanded to offer even more flexible scheduling around families’ work needs and vacation plans this summer.

The Work-Family Connection, founded in 1989, is a not-for-profit organization operating before and after school programs, vacation/holiday programs, kindergarten extended-day programs, and summer camps. The programs currently operate in Hunterdon, Morris, Essex and Union Counties, serving approximately 2400 students.  The summer camps are held in Annandale/Clinton Twp, Chatham and Montclair.  Aurora Pipeling is also very happy to announce that Clinton Twp welcomes back the ACE program this summer, through The Work-Family Connection!
Each week of summer camp has a theme, and camp days are filled with a variety of related activities.  For Hunterdon and Morris Camps, there are 2 fun & educational field trips each week, and 2-3 days of swimming included in the tuition.  Some of the trips this year include  Dorney Park, The Statue of Liberty, and visiting a Pirate Ship!

According to Aurora Pipeling, Founder and Chief Executive Director of the not-for-profit organization,  “Parents LOVE our flexible attendance options, and tuition fees.  Although we are open from 7AM until 6PM, students can register for any part of any day or week, and pay only for the time they need.  We also offer “drop-in” service for parents who may need last minute child care for their school age children.”

Other optional features of the camp include Wiz Kids Tutoring Club, where certified teachers help students to strengthen math and reading skills through games, lesson plans and incentives.  Wiz Kids Club meets 2 days per week.   Basketball Camp is being offered in Chatham during the month of August, open to boys and girls entering grades 3-8th.

For parents interested in learning more about the camps, there will be free parent orientation program at each camp in June.  More information is available at or by calling (908) 439-3387 xt10.
