Give your child the best care after school
With more and more parents in the workforce, the demand for high-quality after school programs is increasing.
Our reputation for excellence is spurring a greater demand for programs offered by The Work-Family Connection. We are continually adding new schools, and growing by referral, word of mouth, and professional recommendations.
Our presence
Currently, WFC serves the students of 25 schools in New Jersey. Our after school programs are most convenient if you are located in any of the following areas: Califon, Alexandria Township, Florham Park,
District of Chathams, Clinton Township, Franklin Township, Roselle Park, Long Hill Township and Mount Arlington.
You have the convenience of registering your child online.
If you do not see your district on this list, please contact us to arrange a presentation to your Board of Education.
Program timings and fees
As the program description suggests, our after school care programs begin immediately upon dismissal from school,
and end as late as 6:30 or 6:30pm, depending on your district’s arrangement.
This means that your child will be in our vigilant care from the time that school is dismissed until you or an authorized representative with identification signs for and picks up your child.
In addition, on the many days that school is dismissed early, our activities will begin at that time and end at the usual time. Tuition fees for our after school program can be located on the tuitions schedule of that site.
What will your child do during these hours?
All our after school care programs are structured with age-appropriate activities.
Each day, staff assists students in a homework club, and each child is served a choice of nutritious snack foods. Your child will also be able to participate in various activities like computer education,
hands on scientific experiments, study of nature, awareness of the environment and the community that he or she lives in, building block construction, music, arts and crafts, games sports and recreation.
Children are encouraged to choose activities that they want to participate in.
Highly qualified and screened staff
Our employees are carefully screened during the interview process, and selected on the basis of their experience, certifications and training in working with children.
It is only natural to demand that the staff at our after school programs is not only well qualified, but they have also undergone fingerprinting, state reference checks and CPR and First Aid certification.
Members of our staff are also certified degree holders in the field of education and therefore you can be assured that your child’s learning process will not be comprised.
Some of our employees have been with WFC since the first day, 21 years ago!
