About Gwen:

My name is Gwendolyn Thorpe, and I am the Executive Lead for the Work-Family Connection. Before joining The Work-Family Connection in 2021, for the previous 15 years, I worked at Precious Steps Child Care. While working at Precious Steps, I gained a better understanding of the importance of early childhood education. During this time, I resolved to return to school in order to better serve the families in my community. I have a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Administration and a Master of Science in Higher College Administration. I enjoy working with children, but I also enjoy spending time with my family and shopping on the side.
