ABOUT

My name is Vera-Cherie Williams, and I'm the Regional Director for Morris county. Previous to my current position, I served as a Site Director in Florham Park with The Work-Family Connection for ten years. I graduated from Rutgers University in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in African/African American History. While in college, I realized working in the after school setting is my passion. Creating spaces for children to discover and expand on their interests is what I will continue to strive to do at WFC. I have an intense desire to learn about different cultures and traditions. Stemming from a family of educators, it is important to me to teach cultural competency to children. When I'm not at work, I'm home spending time with my three energetic children; Cherie (16), Charlie (6), and Ella-Grace (3). My favorite time of year is the summer. I enjoy swimming, going to amusement parks with the kiddos, going to the beach, vacationing, and thoroughly enjoying life with family and friends. I also love trying new recipes and providing delectable foods for my family. I will continue to work closely with the WFC team to provide quality programming for our children and families. If you any questions, please feel free to contact me. I am always willing to assist with any needs.
