Each year, our Morris County students compete for the title at our Annual Chess Tournament!

Brady Bicknese, 4th grader from Lafayette Ave WFC won the Morris County Chess Championship, defeating Deven Sood, also 4th grade, from Lafayette in the Gold Medal Match!  This is the fourth chess tournament Brady has participated in, each time improving his skill and finishing higher, until finally winning it all this November! Brady outlasted 28 other competitors to win Gold. In addition to the Gold Medal, Brady also took home a beautiful hand-carved wooden chess set, valued at 50 dollars!
